Suspects arrested in deadly Orosi shooting

OROSI — Three men were arrested Friday on suspicion of shooting a man who was found dead along a rural Orosi road.

Tulare County sheriff’s deputies in Orosi found Arturo Bello, 18, of Orosi, lying on a road’s shoulder on the 12000 block of Avenue 416 with trauma to his upper torso. He was already dead by the time the deputies arrived, authorities report.

They were initially called out to the scene in response to shots fired in the area.

Joshua Hernandez, 25, of Bakersfield; Richard Garcia, 23, of Cutler; Santos Hernandez, 29, of Cutler and Rodney Zayas, 22, of Orosi were caught in a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description, authorities report.

The four suspects were booked into the Main Jail Friday night on suspicion of homicide.
