Schools need fixing
Editor,
My name is Carmen Gamino, and I’m 14 years old. I go to Granite High School in Porterville. I read an article in the Porterville Recorder about Measure J and No to PUSD bond measure Letter to the Editor.
Once I read the article, I agreed with Measure J because if we build a new high school in Porterville, we will socialize with more schools and people. Also, there are a lot of schools in Porterville that have to be fixed. One reason why, is that the students don’t want to be walking around a messy school, especially when it’s raining and the halls get muddy puddles.
In my opinion, I believe the iPads are useful in school because I could look up information about something that I have trouble understanding and now people mostly use technology.
I recommend voters to vote for Measure J for the kids in the future.
