Thanks for biker safety comments

I would like to take the opportunity to thank Anita Stackhouse-Hite for her motorcycle article on May 23.

As a motorcycle rider I can say she hit the nail right on the head. People in cars (not all of them) for some reason choose motorcycles as a target rather than a person. As riders we ALWAYS have to be prepared for the unexpected and have an escape plan. In traffic I spend much more time having to watch out for careless drivers than I do just enjoying the ride.

I hope and pray those careless drivers saw your commentary and take heart.
