Measure helps children

There are quite a few letters that say no to Measure J. Some letters are aimed at the board and even at the administration. This is not about teachers, the board or the administration. This is about the children.
I grew up in Fresno and it was natural for us to be rivals with Clovis. When I moved here, Clovis is also brought up in the same regard. What does Clovis have that we don’t? Community support.
Yes, I am a teacher and obviously I have a bias view, but this is not something that financially helps the people that work here. This is something that will create more technological accessibility for the students. It creates real classrooms and not portable classrooms.
This bond has the potential to really push us in a positive direction. Why would we not want that for the children?
