What's going on here?

Porterville is a small town. Many of us have lived here for many years. Often, we watch and shake our heads at what the “good ol’ boys” do. This time they have gone too far.
What is going on at SVDH?

How is it that three men (or four) can do what they did last Tuesday without any sort of explanation to the residents of Porterville. They hide behind “It’s a personnel matter ... cannot comment.”

Where is due process? Why was the CFO fired? Is there a large fund of dollars hoarded by the board? How much? For what purpose? What does this fund have to do with Joe Stewart’s firing?  

Is this character assassination of Joe Stewart being orchestrated by Brent Gill? Why? Why would the SVDH Board spend many hours and thousands of dollars on a nationwide search before selecting Joe Stewart from a list of qualified candidates, and one year later, fire him without explanation.

The final slap in his face is his “replacement.” Donna Hefner is a lovely woman, but to compare her skills to the skills Joe Stewart brought to the position is a joke. The men who did this dastardly deed probably think this lovely, young female will be easier to control. And of course, if she offers resistance, they can fire her, too.
