Maria Luisa Mena

Maria Luisa Mena, a resident of Porterville, California, passed away there on Saturday, June 14, 2008.  She was born in Michoacan, Mexico on August 25, 1919.  She was 88.

Visitation will be held at Myers Chapel on Thursday, June 19th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A rosary will be held at St. Anne’s Church on Thursday, June 19th at 6:00 p.m.  A Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church on Friday, June 20th at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

She is survived by her sons, Pat Mena, Crescencio Mena and Reynaldo Mena, all of Porterville, CA; daughters, Aurelia Mena, Faustina Mena, Esperanza Delgadillo, all of Porterville, CA and Virginia Gantong of Bakersfield, CA; brothers, Adolfo Aldaco of Mexico and Angel Aldaco of Bakersfield, CA; 27 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Encarnacino Mena, who passed in 1995.
