PC men fall to Columbia

It looked like the Porterville College men’s basketball team was possibly heading to its first win of the season, but eventually fell 76-63 at Columbia on Saturday in Central Valley Conference action.
PC trailed 40-38 at halftime, but actually led late in the second half, With about six minutes left in the game, Porterville had a chance to go up by five points on a breakaway layup, but missed the layup and that turned out to be the turning point.
Juddon Carter scored 25 points and Tyrone Hall added 20 points for the Pirates.
