Don't litter

In response to Laura Grabowkski’s Letter to the Editor dated Wednesday, Jan. 29,  I agree with Laura’s position about keeping Springville and Balch Park Road clean from trash and debris.

Yes, there are two women who are committed to keeping Springville clean, and residents on Balch Park Road also do their part to keep the road clean. I think members who live in downtown Springville, there are many who walk up and down the street on a regular basis, could help when they are out walking to pick up trash and dispose of it.

The biggest problem we have in Springville is there are so many people who travel up to Springville and up Balch Park Road and don’t have a problem with throwing their trash out the window. Please, don’t be a litter bug in our community of Springville. Please, keep your trash in your vehicle, use a plastic bag to contain it in and then dispose in a trash receptacle.  

Littering is against the law.
