No psychic in her future

Editor,

Let us not be deceived. Don’t spend your money on an admission ticket at $25 or $35 to get hooked up to a well known psychic wanting to help you gain control of your life and find God so she can — in her own way — teach you principles that are contrary to the living word of God.

The Bible speaks against spiritualism and psychics. Read Leviticus 20:27 and Deuteronomy 18:10-13.

According to the article, Sylvia the psychic tells people, “It does not matter if you believe in God because God believes in you.”

She wants to impart into the hearts of the innocent souls that the fact of reincarnation was established as the key to understanding life.

If Sylvia Brown is so strongly pro-God, then why is she so free to guide and teach against God’s word?

Those of us who study the Bible know that Satan and demons masquerade as “an angel of light.”

The only way to avoid being deceived is to know the truth. If you ever wanted an instruction manual for life, then open up the Bible, for within the pages of Second John in the New Testament there are instructions regarding false teachers who travel from place to place spreading error.

One sure way to combat false teaching is to know the truth of God’s word.

The city of Porterville does not need another psychic to draw us into sin.

We should be carrying a  burden and a love for the Yokuts Indians, a tribe which had to defend itself against the invasion of its land. If Porterville wants to be a city of light let’s start out by grabbing hold of the truth.

Review and research about “those early days.”

Eagle Mountain Casino, book a true minister of the Gospel so this city can begin to repent for what was done to the Yokuts Indians.

They were the original inhabitants of San Joaquin Valley. Let’s get spiritual.
