Larry Eugene Fairless

Larry Eugene Fairless, 62 of Porterville, CA, born on February 14, 1947, passed away on January 11, 2010.  Larry was a former resident of Coalinga, and San Joaquin, CA and lived in Porterville for the past five years in the home of his dreams with his wife, Jeannie.  

Larry & Jeannie were married in Reno, Nevada on April 30, 1969 and recently celebrated their 40th Anniversary.  Their union produced two wonderful children, Daniel Paul of Porterville, CA and Ann Jeannette of Hanford, CA.

 
Larry is survived by his two children and four grandchildren;  Daniel Bryce, Dillon Paul, Dalton James  Fairless and Jordan Gillis, also survived by loving brother, Stanley & his wife Janet Fairless of San Joaquin, his sisters, Shirley Cottrell of Susanville, Joan Ward of Visalia, brother, Brian Fairless of Coalinga, and many nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and friends.   He will be greatly missed by all.

Larry worked in agriculture for the majority of his life and retired from Fresno County Coalinga Disposal Site.  He was very active in his children’s and grandchildren’s life.  His priorities in life were FAMILY, friends and fun.  He loved hunting, camping and the great outdoors.  He was a Viet Nam war veteran.

He was the strength, inspiration and rock of the family and was always known for his perpetual smile.
The family depended on him to fix, repair or advise when any wisdom was needed.

Visitation will be at Myers Chapel on Thursday, January 14, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Graveside Service will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m.
