Kid choir to share a special Christmas musical

Trinity Lutheran Church’s Camp TLC Kids Choir will share a special Christmas musical message during worship services at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11. The church is located at 765 W. Henderson Ave., Porterville.

Under the direction of Jan Gibson, the choir will present a delightful mini-musical titled, “Mary Had a Little Lamb… that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.” The musical tells the Christmas story using familiar children’s songs with different lyrics and narration. One of those is “Mary Had a LIttle Lamb and His Name Was Jesus.”

According to Gibson, “The production was both fun, funny and serious as the children impress upon the audience the importance of the birth of Jesus. We hope members of the community will join us for this celebration.”

The following Sunday, Dec. 18 at 10:30 a.m., TLC’s adult choir will present the Christmas cantina, titled “The Winter Rose.” Dale Anderson directs the choir.
