Insult to Bush

Editor,

I am writing this letter in answer to one submitted by John Schoff, who made a feeble attempt to insult George Bush by referring to him as “Dub-ya.”

When I was old enough to vote, I registered as a Republican and I’ve voted in every presidential election since. However, I did not vote Republican every time. I voted for John F. Kennedy, who I believe if he had been allowed to live would have been one of the best we have ever had.

I voted for John McCain and Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan because I believe in them. My wife did, too, but not because I told her to. Neither of us voted for Barack Obama, but we are not racists in or out of the closet. Obama received the majority votes from minorities and young women, but I will not refer to them as idiots.

That leaves you-know-who as the standard bearer. Because he referred to them as racists in the closet and outwardly, the village may be looking for him.

I wish him luck.
