Letter-To-The Editor: Praise for LOVE Inc.

I would like to giveraise to Porterville LOVE Inc. for the support they give to the community at large.

On several occasions LOVE Inc. has provided assistance to homeless individuals that have called City Hall asking for housing vouchers.  

One of these individuals you might have read about was Edward W. Soares. who died not long ago. They were the first to provide him with vouchers to a local motel.

Just today I learned from Sierra View Hospital’s social worker about an elderly couple that is homeless. I called LOVE Inc’s director Elva Beltran and of course she immediately agreed to provide assistance.

I am very grateful to the community as a whole since every single person, organization, church, etc. that donates to LOVE Inc. is instrumental in meeting the needs of those less fortunate.

Thank you Elva and staff for your hard work, it is truly appreciated
