THE PORTERVILLE RECORDER

Homes that have been foreclosed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the Tulare, Kings and Fresno County area will be offered to potential homebuyers for a down payment of $100.

Premier Real Estate, the lead listing broker of HUD homes in the area, is hosting the event from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Tulare office, 1126 E. Leland Ave.

The fair will feature information on how buyers can purchase a HUD home.

HUD homes, which are one- to four-unit residential properties, are offered initially to people who are buying the home as their primary residence.

Premier Real Estate associates trained in the HUD sales process will be present to assist buyers.

Lenders from Tulare-based Ida’s Direct Mortgage will also be on site to pre-qualify buyers and answer financial questions.

Interested buyers will have the opportunity to tour available HUD homes in the area after the fair.

For more information, call Premier Real Estate at 684-1400.
