I would like to comment on the City of Hope show my husband and I attended. We sat behind children who played on the cell phones, not paying any attention to the show. Didn’t seem to bother the parents, though, but the lights shining in our faces was very distracting to say the least.
Also, Trick Shot played just before the show began. They always do such a good job.
At one point, Jerry said we’re going to sing a serious song, which was “America the Beautiful.” He talked about our service guys and girls defending our country and policemen, fire, all who try their best to defend this country.
Their song was beautiful. When Jerry started speaking, you couldn’t even hear the words he was speaking. The most rude crowd I have ever been in.
Why not stand up, folks? Everyone should have stood up and given them a standing ovation. They so deserved it and so does this country.
