Frances Aletha Kramme was born on September 22, 1920, the daughter of Roy and Lucy Heritage in Ashton, Iowa and passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2008 in Fresno.

Frances graduated from Ashton High School, then worked in Canton, Ohio where she also attended Canton Business College. She moved to Los Angeles and was employed by AT&T and worked in the Disbursement Accounting Dept.

On August 1, 1947 she was united in marriage to William J. Kramme, formerly of Sibley, Iowa. They moved to Porterville, CA where Bill was in the insurance business. After 35 years in Porterville they moved to Fresno, CA in 1987. On August 1, 2007 they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lucy Heritage; two sisters, Thelma Robinson and her husband Pat and Doris Fritts and her husband Langdon.

Frances is survived by her husband William J. Kramme of Fresno; son James R. Kramme and his wife Ellen of Grover Beach, CA; daughter, Karen L. Stonecipher of Fresno; and her grandson Brad Stonecipher of Fresno; brother-in-law, Robert D. Kramme and his wife Shirley of Sutherland, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service was held at Clovis Cemetery on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
