Burton Middle School boys basketball wins title

The Burton Middle School eighth grade boys basketball team won its second straight Whitney League Championship on Thursday, beating Lindsay 51-33 in the semifinals and Bartlett 53-39 in the finals. Eric Calantoc scored 16 points and Treager Wallace added 12 points for the Bulldogs in the finals.
