Porterville College lost its Central Valley Conference opener at West Hills after leading 37-36 at halftime.
“We did a good job of containing their big guys,”said PC coach T.J. Jennings about the first half. “They have some talented, athletic bigs.”
West Hills went on a run to begin the second half to take control.
Juddon Carter scored 22 points, Dominic Avila had 15 points, Joseph Yarbrough had 12 points and Tyrone Hall added 14 points for PC.
