Teen arrested in connection with Earlimart assault

EARLIMART—Authorities have arrested an Earlimart juvenile who they say assaulted a 19-year-old on Saturday.
At about 8:25 p.m., Rodrigo Martinez and the 17-year-old fought in the 100 block of North Church. Tulare County deputies arrived at the scene and were told by Martinez that the suspect was carrying a deadly weapon.
Later, authorities were able to locate the suspect who was positively identified by Martinez as his attacker.
The juvenile was booked into the Tulare County Juvenile Detention Facility.
