PC volleyball sweeps West Hills

Porterville College (19-5, 12-1 in the Central Valley Conference) tuned up for its showdown with Fresno City by sweeping West Hills 25-18, 25-9, 25-13. PC will look to force a share of the CVC title with Fresno when it plays at Fresno on Friday.
Nayeli Colunga and Amanda Monge both posted double doubles for PC against West Hills as Colunga had 14 kills, 11 digs and six aces and Monge had 13 kills, 10 digs and two blocks. Also for PC, Allison Clem had five kills and nine digs, Sam Sawyer had 29 assists, five digs and two aces, Kacey Markarian had one assist and nine digs and Laura Jaggers added three digs.
