Support democracy

My wife and I totally agree with the letter written to you from Judy Adams, published on Friday, Oct. 5.

Voting in the upcoming election is truly casting your vote for socialism or democracy and we should evaluate every one that is currently running, for any office, by this criteria.

We only need to look around at the socialist countries of today and yesterday to see problems and disadvantages of that economic system.

And yes, the future of our great country is in our hands, so we should look deep inside ourselves and vote for people of integrity and morality that will support the democracy that so many have fought and died for.
