THE PORTERVILLE RECORDER

Colleen Conroy, a resident of Springville, passed away there on November 6, 2008. She was born in Compton, California on November 7, 1931. She was 76.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 21st from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at River Island Country Club.

Colleen was a member of the Quilters and Gardening Club of Porterville. She was very involved in the Cradle Quilts and dolls organization, coordinating with the Fine Woodworkers club for their Christmas toy project for needy children.

She is survived by husband of 58 years, Don Conroy of Springville; one son, Curt D. Conroy of Canyon Lake, CA; one daughter Paige O. Catani of Florida; three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Porterville Cancer Center at 465 W. Putnam Ave., Porterville, CA 93257.
