Vacation Bible school will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. through June 24 at Porterville Church of Christ, 1000 N. Newcomb St.

Everyone is invited to bring their children to travel back into Bible times. Participants will explore the marketplace shops, visit the Apostle Paul and sneak into the cave where the underground church meets. There will be games, crafts, food and a lesson on the early church.

There will be a performance each day as the group experiences what it felt like to be the first Christians.

There will be a special adult session for those that wish to stay while their children attend.

The ages are from 3 to 12 years.
