Minor earthquake rattles Tulare County

A minor 3.1 earthquake occurred just after midnight today and was centered above Three Rivers in Tulare County.
The Southern California Seismic Network reported the quake at 22 minutes past midnight and it was centered 10 miles east of Sequoia National Park.
No damage or injuries have been reported.
The quake occurred approximately 7 miles below the surface.
Earthquakes in Tulare County are rare, but not in California. There were 11 earthquakes recorded in California on Wednesday.
