Angelina Flores Verdugo
March 8, 1924 – March 15, 2009
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 20 at 10 AM at the Webb-Sanders Funeral Home chapel for Angelina “Grandma” Flores Verdugo, 85 years young, who entered rest Sunday, March 15, 2009 in Porterville with her family at her side. She was born March 8, 1924 in Chandler, Arizona.
Angelina’s faith in God was an inspiration to all who knew her and as a member of the Lindsay Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church, she was always involved in sharing the Lord’s love with others and was loved by all who came to know her. She was preceded in death by a daughter Ruth Ramirez in 1978 and by her husband Jorge Verdugo in 1982; by her brother Gregorio Flores and by a sister Trinidad Gross. Angelina is survived by her 5 children: David Verdugo of Hanford, Bettina Ornelas of Round Rock, TX; Norma Piña and Hilda Rodriguez both of Lindsay and George Verdugo Jr. of Exeter; her sisters Dolores Flores of Tampa, FL and Lupe Agramont of Mexicali, MX; 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19 from 5 until 8 PM at Webb-Sanders Funeral Home.
