Alvin Hunt, a resident of Porterville, California, passed away there on Thursday, July 03, 2008. He was born in Turlock, California on May 12, 1944. He was 64.

A service will be held at Lindsay Church of God on Tuesday, July 8th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Alvin was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Lindsay.

He is survived by his wife Carel Hunt of Porterville, CA; sons, Jack Hunt of Exeter, CA and Brian Hunt of Clear Lake, CA; daughters, Katherine Thompson of Porterville, CA, Wendy Hunt, also of Porterville, and Tina Wells of Redwood Village, CA; brothers, Virgil Hunt, L.B. Hunt and Kenneth Hunt, all of Ukiah, CA; Sister, Trudy White of Porterville, CA; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
