Should resign

In my opinion I feel that Councilman Greg Shelton showed his true allegiance Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the Tulare County Board of Supervisors meeting. That allegiance being to himself and his Good Ol’ Boys Club.

He showed he has no intention of upholding the oath of office in which he is to serve the interests of the citizens of the city of Porterville.

His knowledge of the Heritage Center and plans for future expansion through past membership in the Parks and Leisure Commission allowed him knowledge that APN# 261-150-016-000 is part of that expansion.
With his knowledge of this property being within the Redevelopment Zone, he decided to have the deed made out in another person’s name.

I feel his participation in this was conspiracy to commit fraud against the city, its citizens and the county.

I feel he should do the right thing in resigning from the council.
