Death threats lead to arrest

A Tulare man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly threatened to kill a Porterville resident.
Rudy Encines, 30, allegedly sent a text message to Brock Pearson stating “Watch your back” “I’ll kill you,” authorities report.
Encines was then allegedly found with a BB gun outside Pearson’s house.
He was arrested and booked at the Porterville Substation on suspicion of making threats.
